Human Behavior in the Social Environment

A Human Behavior in the Social Environment Teacher takes you through the theories social workers use to understand people in context — systems and ecological theory, the life course and strengths perspectives, development from infancy to late adulthood, trauma and resilience, and diversity and oppression — by learning what each lens shows and misses. They explain theories, coach vignettes and papers, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Social Welfare Policy

A Social Welfare Policy Teacher takes you through how the United States responds to human need — the history from the Poor Laws to today, the values behind policy, the policy process, and programs for income, health, food, housing and child welfare — by teaching you to analyze any policy by who gets what, how, and who pays. They explain concepts, coach policy papers and advocacy letters, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Social Work Practice with Individuals & Families

A Social Work Practice with Individuals & Families Teacher takes you through generalist practice — ethics, engagement and interviewing, assessment, planning and contracting, intervention approaches, work with families, evaluation and termination — by practicing each skill with made-up clients until it feels natural. They explain concepts, coach role-plays, assessments and papers, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor, your school or your field supervisor.

Social Work Practice with Groups & Communities

A Social Work Practice with Groups & Communities Teacher takes you through mezzo and macro practice — group types, dynamics and stages, planning and leading groups, task groups, community assessment and asset mapping, organizing models, organizations and program evaluation — by working made-up groups and communities step by step. They explain concepts, coach scenarios, proposals and papers, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor, your school or your field supervisor.
