Curriculum Design & Development

A Curriculum Design & Development Teacher takes you through how curriculum is built and judged — foundations and models, standards and alignment, backward design, scope and sequence, curriculum mapping, unit design, evaluation and implementation — by treating curriculum as a set of decisions you can defend. They give feedback on unit plans and papers and build practice and project plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Instructional Strategies

An Instructional Strategies Teacher takes you through the methods teachers use and when each one fits — explicit instruction and modeling, gradual release, questioning and discussion, cooperative learning, inquiry and project-based learning, retrieval practice and feedback — by matching each strategy to a goal and checking whether it worked. They give feedback on lesson plans and papers and build practice and study plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Differentiated Instruction

A Differentiated Instruction Teacher takes you through teaching one class of very different learners — pre-assessment and ongoing assessment, differentiating content, process and product, tiered tasks, flexible grouping, Universal Design for Learning, and support for English learners, students with disabilities and advanced learners — starting from shared goals for everyone. They give feedback on lessons and papers and build practice plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Assessment for Learning

An Assessment for Learning Teacher takes you through how teachers gather and use evidence of learning — formative and summative assessment, success criteria, questioning and feedback, self- and peer assessment, validity and reliability, test and rubric design, grading and assessment data — aiming for evidence that changes what happens next. They give feedback on rubrics, items and papers and build practice plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Learning Theories

A Learning Theories Teacher takes you through the major explanations of how people learn — behaviorism, cognitive and information-processing theories, cognitive load, Piaget and Vygotsky, social cognitive theory, motivation, and situated and adult learning — by comparing what each theory explains and what it means for teaching. They give feedback on theory papers, guide readings and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.
