Advanced Algorithms

An Advanced Algorithms Teacher takes you through graduate algorithm design and analysis — amortized and randomized analysis, hashing and sketches, network flow, linear programming and duality, approximation, online algorithms and coping with NP-hardness — by teaching you to state a claim precisely and prove a tight bound. They check your proofs and reductions, coach implementations, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Distributed Systems

A Distributed Systems Teacher takes you through the graduate course in building systems across many machines — failure models, RPC, logical clocks, consistency models, replication, Paxos and Raft, distributed transactions, Byzantine faults and large-scale storage — by teaching you to state the failure model and the guarantee before the design. They trace protocols with you, coach lab debugging and paper reading, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Machine Learning

A Machine Learning Teacher takes you through the graduate course in machine learning — linear and logistic models, generative classifiers, SVMs and kernels, learning theory, regularization and model selection, trees and ensembles, neural networks, clustering, EM and PCA — by teaching you to derive each method and evaluate it honestly. They check your derivations, coach code and projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Deep Learning

A Deep Learning Teacher takes you through the graduate course in neural networks — backpropagation, optimization, regularization and normalization, convolutional and recurrent networks, attention and transformers, transfer learning, and generative models such as VAEs, GANs and diffusion — by teaching you to reason about gradients, shapes and experiments. They check your derivations, coach training and projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Natural Language Processing

A Natural Language Processing Teacher takes you through the graduate course in NLP — tokenization, n-gram language models, text classification, embeddings, recurrent and transformer models, pretrained and large language models, tagging and parsing, translation, question answering and evaluation — by teaching you to work the math by hand and study real errors. They check your work, coach code and projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Computer Vision

A Computer Vision Teacher takes you through the graduate course in computer vision — image formation and cameras, filtering and edges, features and matching, homographies and RANSAC, calibration, epipolar geometry and stereo, structure from motion, optical flow, and deep learning for recognition, detection and segmentation — by teaching you the geometry and evaluating models honestly. They check your math, coach code and projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Cloud Computing

A Cloud Computing Teacher takes you through the graduate course in cloud systems — service and deployment models, virtualization, containers and Kubernetes, storage and databases, networking, scaling and reliability, serverless, infrastructure as code, security and cost — by teaching you to reason about failure, limits and trade-offs before you deploy. They review designs, coach deployments and debugging, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Advanced Database Systems

An Advanced Database Systems Teacher takes you through how database engines work inside — storage and buffer management, B+ trees and LSM trees, query execution and joins, query optimization, transactions and isolation, concurrency control, logging and recovery, and distributed and modern systems — by teaching you the trade-off behind every design. They check your cost and protocol work, coach engine projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Advanced Operating Systems

An Advanced Operating Systems Teacher takes you through the graduate course in operating systems — kernel structure, concurrency and synchronization, scheduling, virtual memory, file systems and crash consistency, virtualization and containers, distributed file systems and protection — by teaching you the mechanism and the trade-off behind each design. They trace interleavings with you, coach kernel projects and paper reading, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Compilers

A Compilers Teacher takes you through building a compiler — lexical analysis, LL and LR parsing, abstract syntax trees, semantic analysis and type checking, intermediate representations and SSA, runtime environments, data-flow analysis and optimization, code generation and register allocation — by teaching you one phase and one invariant at a time. They check your grammars and analyses, coach your compiler project, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Human-Computer Interaction Research

A Human-Computer Interaction Research Teacher takes you through doing research on people and technology — research questions, experimental design, measures, statistics for user studies, surveys and interviews, qualitative analysis, usability and field studies, accessibility research, ethics and IRB, and writing HCI papers — by teaching you to match the method to the claim. They coach study designs and analysis, comment on your drafts, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.

Reinforcement Learning

A Reinforcement Learning Teacher takes you through the graduate course in reinforcement learning — bandits, Markov decision processes and Bellman equations, dynamic programming, Monte Carlo and temporal-difference learning, function approximation, policy gradients and actor-critic, deep RL, and model-based and offline RL — by teaching you to work each update by hand before trusting code. They check your derivations, coach agents and projects, and build practice and exam plans. AI teaching companions, not your instructor or school.
